This summer, explore a brand-new crossover event as the world of Pokémon GO is brought into the Pokémon Trading Card Game! This new set features the powerful Mewtwo VSTAR and sought-after Shiny Pokémon, appearing as Radiant Venusaur, Radiant Charizard, and Radiant Blastoise!
You can look for Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO booster packs in special collections, arriving in stores July 1, 2022!
Celebrate the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion with a themed event featuring Pokémon debuts, Mewtwo’s return to raids, and more.
Two incredible universes collide in the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion, and Trainers can celebrate that union with Pokémon GO‘s in-game Pokémon TCG Crossover Event happening through June 30, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time! Wimpod and Golisopod, which appear in the Pokémon TCG expansion, make their splashing Pokémon GO debut. The Mystery Box awaits, offering Trainers a chance to encounter Shiny Meltan and a reduced cooldown period before it can be opened again. Mewtwo, the Genetic Pokémon, also returns to five-star raids and will know one of two special Charged Attacks depending upon when you catch it.
Collection Challenges abound with not one, not two, but SIX Collection Challenges of varied difficulty! Put your skills to the test by catching Pokémon featured in the new Pokémon TCG expansion. Trainers who successfully complete all six challenges will earn rewards—including XP, a Lure Module, and an Incubator, as well as encounters with Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Meltan.
As a nod to Solrock and Lunatone’s stellar appearance in the new Pokémon TCG expansion, both Meteorite Pokémon will be appearing in the wild around the world throughout the event. At the event’s conclusion, Lunatone will shift to the Western Hemisphere while Solrock moves to the Eastern Hemisphere.

- Mewtwo caught between June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. and June 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time will know the Ghost-type Charged Attack Shadow Ball.
- Mewtwo caught from June 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to July 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time will know the Psychic-type Charged Attack Psystrike.

We’re incredibly excited to reveal more details about our collaboration with the Pokémon TCG. Trainers will be able to purchase the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion soon, featuring Pokémon GO-themed cards!
As part of the collaboration, we’re also celebrating in Pokémon GO with the Pokémon TCG Crossover Event! This event sees the debut of Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat. Mewtwo that know Shadow Ball or Psystrike may also appear in Raid Battles. What’s more, if you are lucky, you might encounter Shiny Meltan—and that’s not all! Read on for more information.

Pokémon TCG Crossover Event
Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time
Pokémon debuts
Pikachu wearing a Pokémon TCG hat, Wimpod, and Goliospod make their Pokémon GO debut!
Meltan
The key to catching Meltan is the Mystery Box, which can be obtained by sending a Pokémon from Pokémon GO to Pokémon HOME or the Nintendo Switch titles Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!
When you use the Mystery Box during this event, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Meltan—if you’re lucky!
The time you have to wait before you can open the Mystery Box again will be reduced during the event.
Collection Challenges
Collection Challenges themed around Pokémon that will be featured in the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion are coming!
Six Collection Challenges of varying difficulty – some will be harder than others, just like collecting the TCG cards – will be available beginning on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time and will run until Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. You can complete them all to receive rewards of XP, a Lure Module, and an Incubator. You’ll also be able to encounter Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, and Meltan!
That’s not all! You can keep the collecting going with another three Collection Challenges available beginning on June 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. local time and running until June 30, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. You can complete them all to earn additional encounters with Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise!

The following Pokémon featured in the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion will appear more frequently in the wild.
Other featured Pokémon
Lunatone and Solrock will also be featured in the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion! In celebration, these Pokémon will be appearing in the wild around the world for the duration of the event. After the event ends, Lunatone will appear in the Western Hemisphere and Solrock will appear in the Eastern Hemisphere.

You can encounter the following Pokémon featured in the Pokémon TCG: Pokémon GO expansion when you complete Field Research tasks.
