Tessa’s Guide to Pickpocketing & Pilfering RPG Supplement Up On Kickstarter

Pickpocketing is wrong. But, let’s face it, if you’re a Rogue in your D&D game, you’re probably doing it regularly. Even if you’re not the Rogue, you might find the skill handy. Tessa’s Guide to Pickpocketing & Pilfering is a book to help you in that skill, along with having a bunch of objects that’ll help out or might just be in said pockets. The book is up on Kickstarter now.

From the campaign:

Tessa’s Guide is a supplement for Fifth Edition that provides you with simple guidelines for thievery and how difficult it should be.

Tessa’s guide includes over 600 items to be stolen. Most of these are small, low cost items designed to be stolen without throwing off the balance of your game.

It also provides a degree of diversity for pilferable objects based on location. These 600 items are spread across nine D100 charts. Some items, such as an iron ring or a pouch of tobacco, can be found on multiple charts. Other items, such as a ceremonial burial dagger or a fireproof spell scroll case, are far more rare and are only found on more… challenging charts.

The items also have a brief description provided by Tessa. Occasionally these describe the object itself while other descriptions explain how the item can be used in cons or future larcenous acts.

There are also Quest Seeds in the book. A few handouts that the thief may end up mistakenly pilfering while out and about that can lead to adventure.

The campaign’s headed to 10x funded (being fair, they weren’t asking a lot to begin with) with 20 days left to go.
