So, it’s 2022 and we’re not in the Blade Runner universe like we thought we would be. But that doesn’t mean the cyberpunk ideal is dead. It’s just been pushed back a little bit… and a bit further north. That’s where you find yourself in Montreapolis, a new cyberpunk RPG up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Montréapolis is a cyberpunk tabletop role playing game (TTRPG) set in 2099 Montréal. This game will bring your players across the dark streets of the mega-city. Fight, charm, and outsmart your enemies through a series of cunning plans. The book contains 60 pages of content. This includes setting, history, characters, mechanics, character creation, enemies, items, and more! The book also contains beautiful pieces of commissioned art by our lead artist @lookforhelena.
To play, each player will only need some six sided dice, pen, paper and their imagination!
As an avid player of TTRPGs, I love it when my players have fun and leave the game with a story to tell. Is it an unexpected betrayal, a heroic moment between players, a great victory in the face of adversity? The beauty of TTRPGs is that anything is possible. This document serves as creating some parameters for your experience and is supposed to help with world building. However, they are not static rules! If something doesn’t fit with the story , not only can you change it, but I highly encourage it! My wish is for the person reading our TTRPG to have fun.
The campaign’s over 2x funded with 20 days left to go.
