Games Workshop is currently preordering Avatar of Khaine and Autarch, two new HQ miniatures kits for Warhammer 40,000, which will release on April 2, 2022.
The Avatar of Khaine is a monstrous HQ miniature for the Aeldari army who is the embodiment of a shattered god. This kit has 53 components and a 80 mm Citadel round base which is enough to build one Avatar of Khaine model. The kit also comes with three different head choices: a classic helmet with plume and headdress, a martial helm with an ornate crest, and a bare head with a wild mane and flowing topknot. It will retail for $100.
The Autarch is another solid choice for an Aeldari HQ miniature. This character wields a variety of wargear and is cross compatible with the winged Autarch. The model kit comes with 19 plastic components and a 32 mm Citadel round base. It will retail for $38.
Games Workshop has also announced two new codex sourcebooks for Warhammer 40,000 (see “New ‘Knights’ Codexes for ‘Warhammer 40,000’“).
