Niantic has announced a new event for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
The Season of Alola continues with the Lush Jungle event, featuring Timed Research, Special Research, and plenty of Cottonee.
It’s an excellent time to head out and explore with your fellow Pokémon GO Trainers! Through Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, the Lush Jungle event will welcome Fomantis and Lurantis to Pokémon GO. The Legendary Pokémon Tapu Lele, guardian deity of Akala Island, will also make its Pokémon GO debut in Raid Battles. There will be loads of Cottonee about, new Timed Research to complete, and several jungle-themed Pokémon will be appearing more often in the wild.
From Saturday, March 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, you can enjoy a weekend park spotlight! The Grass- and Fairy-type Pokémon Cottonee will be appearing more frequently in parks, and there will be Timed Research focused on catching Grass-type Pokémon and exploring. By completing research tasks, you can earn useful items like Mossy Lure Modules (which attract Grass-, Poison-, and Bug-type Pokémon) and encounters with event-themed Pokémon like Fomantis.
The Lush Jungle event will also continue the story of the Season of Alola with new Special Research focused on Akala Island, so there are plenty of reasons to get out and enjoy a jungle-themed adventure!
