Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson‘s G-Unit Film & Television has optioned DC Comics‘ Xerø for development along with Color Farm Media. Xerø was created by writer Christopher Priest and artist ChrisCross. The series debuted in 1997 and ran for twelve issues.
The comic series was about an African-American professional basketball player, Coltrane Walker, who is secretly a tech-enhanced “closer”, an agent who ties up loose ends. As an assassin he disguised himself as a blond and blue eyed White operative.
G-Unit Film & Television will produce along with Erika Alexander and Ben Arnon for Color Farm, and Joseph Illidge who is the CEO of the newly-launched production and publishing company Illuminous.
