Super Smash Bros. Ultimate NintendoVS Challenge Cup February 2022 tournament kicks off this Saturday, February 12

Nintendo has announced a new tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Read on below to learn more:

NintendoVS Challenge Cup February 2022

Eligible Super Smash Bros. fans in the US, Canada, and Mexico can compete for an opportunity to win prizes like My NintendoTM Gold Points to redeem on Nintendo eShop, a Nintendo SwitchTM carrying case, and even a Grand Prize trophy!

The tournament will take place February 12 from 3PM-6PM PT.

To enter, you must participate in the Tournament in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game during the Tournament Period. To access the Tournament, select the following, in order, within the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game: Online, Smash, Official Tourney Qualifiers.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal residents of the US (including D.C.) and Canada who are age 13+ and Mexico who are age 18+, and have access to a Nintendo Switch system, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game, reliable high-speed internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Tournament begins at 3:00 PM PT on 2/12/2022 and ends at 6:00 PM PT on 2/12/2022. To participate, players must enter the specified Online Tournament in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game during the Tournament Period. Winners will be determined on or around 2/28/22. There will be a total of 8 winners. One Grand Prize winners will receive a trophy, jacket, Nintendo Switch carrying case, backpack, and 10,000 My Nintendo Gold Points (ARV $395 US). Three First Prize winners will each receive a Nintendo Switch carrying case and 7,500 My Nintendo Gold Points (ARV $95 each US). Four Second Prize winners will each receive a Nintendo Switch carrying case, and 5,000 My Nintendo Gold Points (ARV $70 each US). Total prize ARV $960 US. A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem My Nintendo points. Terms apply (https://accounts.nintendo.com/term_point).
