Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are now available for Nintendo Switch! Read on below to learn more:
Early purchasers get special bonuses!
All early purchasers of either the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games will be gifted a Manaphy Egg and Platinum Style Outfit. Just choose Get via internet in the Mystery Gift*** feature in your game, up until February 21, 2022 at 3:59 p.m. PT.
If you purchase the digital version of the game(s) on Nintendo eShop by February 21, 2022 at 3:59 p.m. PT, you’ll also receive a code**** that can be redeemed through the Mystery Gift feature for 12 Quick Balls, or 24 Quick Balls if you purchase the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl Double Pack. The code will be valid through February 28, 2022 at 3:59 p.m. PT.
If you purchase either the physical or digital double pack, you will receive a 200 Poké Ball bonus via download codes***** that can be entered in the Mystery Gift feature in your game.
For a limited time, you can now use the new Mystery Gift code BDSPUNDERGR0UND to get the Turtwig Statue, Chimchar Statue and Piplup Statue for your Secret Base in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
Meanwhile, the new Mystery Gift code MERRYCHR1STMAS can now be used to get five Color Statues in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl until December 25, 2021.
*** The Mystery Gift menu option will appear in the X menu after you unlock the feature in the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl game. (This occurs after about two hours of gameplay, though individual gameplay time may vary.) An internet connection and a Nintendo Account is required to redeem the items in game. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each item can only be redeemed once.
**** The code will be delivered to the email address tied to the Nintendo Account that made the purchase
***** Please note that two codes, each for 100 Poké Balls, will come with the set. The codes will be included on a physical insert in the packaged version or delivered to the email address tied to the Nintendo Account that made the purchase for the downloadable version. An internet connection and a Nintendo Account is required to redeem the items in game. A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required. Each code can only be redeemed once. These codes will not expire.
