Vault Comics has announced that Natasha Alterici’s Heathen returns to the single issue format for Vault’s 5th anniversary. Heathen’s return marks the launch Vault Reserve, a line of definitive collector’s edition reprint publications featuring new and rare covers, exclusive back matter, and a deluxe, top-of-the-line presentation.
Created by Natasha Alterici, the international best-seller was selected as an American Library Association YALSA 2018 Great Graphic Novel For Teens, has seen more than 30 printings and is available in 36 countries around the world.
Heathen centers on the warrior Aydis, an outcast gay woman born into a time of warfare, suffering, and subjugation of women. She is on a mission to end the oppressive reign of the god-king Odin.
Heathen is currently in development for a feature film by Constantin Film and Prime Universe Films, with“Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke attached to direct.
Heathen: Vault Reserve Edition #1 hits store shelves on February 16th, 2022.
