Ares Games will release Quartermaster General WW2: Prelude, an expansion for the Quartermaster General WW2 board game, which will hit stores in January 2022.
This expansion reproduces the climate of the historical period prior to World War II as a short pregame for Quartermaster General WW2 (see “‘Quartermaster General’ Transfers to Ares“). It sets the stages for the most epic war in history in a truncated sequence of play designed to create different opening situations for the beginning of the core game. Prelude is a second edition of the original expansion that adds two all-new cards and rules clarifications from the first edition.
The game box comes with a rulebook, a Tension track, and 109 Prelude cards. It will retail for $19.90.
