Normally, it’s the GM that builds the world that you game in (or they use a pre-gen, but still). But in Questlandia, since the game has no GM, you all get to build the world together before you go adventuring around in it. There’s a new and expanded version of the game up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Questlandia is a GM-less, collaborative roleplaying game. It invites the ideas and enthusiasms of everyone at the table, but it’s especially designed to give space to quiet and new roleplayers. It gives different players control over different aspects of the setting, so the creativity is shared. During roleplay, we take turns in the spotlight, with everyone else at the table supporting your character’s story.
This Kickstarter is for an updated, expanded edition of the original Questlandia. Questlandia went out of print last year, and we want to bring it back better than ever. We’re rewriting the text to be more clear, making a new layout and new art, and adding rules for 2-player games and revisiting old kingdoms. We hope that the result is beautiful and approachable, while keeping every bit of what made the original special.
The campaign’s more than 2x funded with 16 days left to go.
