Steamforged Games will launch two new major expansions, which take players to new lands with new tribes, for its licensed Horizon Zero Dawn board game. Both are planned for release December 3, and each will retail for $54.95.
The Soldiers of the Sun expansion takes place in Sundom, where the technologically advanced Carja people explore its rich hunting grounds. Players will hunt with the Carja Noble and Carja Rogue, each with unique skills, abilities, and equipment. They will face new enemies, including a Behemoth on an 80mm base. The expansion contains:
- 1 Carja Noble mini
- 1 Carja Rogue mini
- 4 Broadhead minis
- 2 Trampler minis
- 1 Behemoth Mini (80mm base)
- 6 Encounter tiles
- Rulebook, and all the cards needed to play
The Forge & Hammer expansion takes place in the Claim, the territory of the Oseram tribe, who are skilled in metalwork and crafts, providing an arsenal of new equipment. Players will harness the power of the Oseram Mixologist and Oseram Tinker to defeat their foes, which include four new types of enemies. The expansion contains:
- 1 Oseram Tinker mini
- 1 Oseram Mixologist mini
- 4 Charger minis
- 4 Lancehorn minis
- 4 Glinthawk minis
- 2 Ravager minis
- 6 Encounter tiles
- Rulebook, plus all the cards needed to play
