The life of a geisha is one filled with rules, intrigue, and those wishing to use them for their various means. It’s into this life that you find yourself in Hanamikoji: Geisha’s Road, a new board game up on Kickstarter now.

Welcome back to Hanamikoji!
Geisha’s Road is a 25-minute two-player, competitive strategy game full of implicit intentions, veiled messages, and hidden actions. You and your opponent are rival but friendly patrons supporting Yoko, Tomoyo, Iroha, Anju, and Ruri along their journey from apprentice (maiko) to full geisha (artist) and perhaps even the owner (okaasan) of their establishment.
The campaign’s more than 3x funded with 33 days left to go.
