Gather ’round, Pokémon fans, for the final
region-based quiz of our 25
years of Pokémon celebration.
For the past several months, we’ve been traveling back through the regions featured
in the core Pokémon video games, and we’ve now arrived where it all began: the
Kanto region. Kanto, of course, was first explored in Pokémon
Red and Pokémon
Blue before soon being revisited in Pokémon
Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition. The region would then get a
graphical upgrade in Pokémon
FireRed and Pokémon
LeafGreen and then a modern-day reimagining in Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon:
Let’s Go, Eevee! Ash and Pikachu’s epic journey began in the Kanto
region as depicted in the first
two
seasons of Pokémon the Series, and Pokémon from Kanto were the stars of
the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s Base Set when the game was first released
in 1999.
Give yourself a point for each question you get correct,
then tally up your score to see how well you did at the end of the quiz. Good
luck, Trainers!
