Well… you know I’m a sucker for a catchy title and interesting premise. And I think Planet X Games certainly has that going for them with their King Tut’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Weird West Extravabonanza RPG Zine Kickstarter campaign. … I think you just need to see what all’s going on in this one. A summary wouldn’t do it justice.
From the campaign:
Planet X Games is back with an all-new, all-different zine dedicated solely to resources for your wild WEIRD west roleplaying games. King Tut’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Weird West Extravabonanza is a cover-to-cover 48-page, 5.5 inch by 8.5 inch B&W zine in the OSR-style. The zine is devoted strictly to cool new scenarios, bad ass NPCs, supernatural items from the frontier, all-new monsters and challenges, unique locations and weird west resources for your tabletop games.
King Tut’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Weird West Extravabonanza is packed full of a murderer’s row of talent, with a dynamic cover and illustrations by Ray Frenden and more interior art by talented artists like Cheese Hassleberger, Lawrence Hernandez and JE Shields. We decided to skip the stretch goals this time and give you the WHOLE THING all at once. Even if this thing barely funds, we’re dedicated to giving you as much quality content as we can cram between these pages.
The campaign’s 5x funded with 20 days left to go.
