Bad Idea Warns of Delays and Allocations
Every aspect of our lives is currently being impacted by distribution issues. COVID and other factors have created a perfect scenario that has resulted in delays, back-ups in ports, and a scarcity of resources. Bad Idea has been updating fans and retailers warning that releases may be delayed and allocations may occur. This is particularly difficult for the publisher as part of its promotions included pre-orders for their final five comics.
Bad Idea has announced that it is delaying its solicitations and opening orders for December shipping titles on Monday, October 11th. The order deadline will remain Thursday, October 21st.
In Bad Idea’s case, the pandemic has created a shortage in paper and labor, making it difficult for all publishers to get releases out.
Bad Idea has already announced release date changes and anticipates they’ll need to change more including formats for releases.
