Demiverse RPG Campaign Setting Up On Kickstarter

September 28, 2021 by Polar_Bear

Don’t you just hate it when the multiverse goes kerplooey? I know I do. However, the rearranged, reconfigured, and mushed-together leftovers are great places to adventure around in. Such is the case in Demiverse, a new RPG campaign guide that’s up on Kickstarter now.

From the campaign:

Everything was going more or less as it had for millions of millennia when suddenly the unthinkable happened. The multiverse, uh, kinda exploded. The fractured realities were sent hurtling (fifth-dimensionally) sometimes combining and reforming in a dizzying number of ways.

Once the dust settled, all that remained were demiplanes, strange fragments of reality the largest of which are only a few thousand square miles and the smallest of which is reported to be a five-foot dungeon tile, if you can believe it.

There’s plenty to see and do on any one demiplane alone. And each would be completely isolated from the others if not for interplanar gates scattered among them. Those foolhardy enough to travel widely throughout the demiverse will find marvels and dangers in abundance, enough to rival your dreams and fuel your nightmares. One thing such intrepid people would never lack is adventure!

The book will be anywhere between 20 and 200 pages, depending on the final funding count. If we hit the funding goal and nothing more, you will discover 4 gorgeously illustrated and fully realized demiplanes. If we hit all of the stretch goals, it’ll be a tome of almost 50 demiplanes with the same high production standards throughout. So tell your friends! The more we fund, the more The Demiverse expands!

The book will be full-color and chock full of custom art. The sparse rules language will be compatible with 5e or Those Who Wander RPG.

The campaign is up and over its funding goal with 23 days left to go.
