Atomic Mass Games Puts ‘Star Wars: Armada’ on Autopilot

Atomic Mass Games announced that it is not currently developing any new products for the Star Wars: Armada miniatures line.

AMG took the reins of developing the Star Wars: Armada from Fantasy Flight Games line near the end of 2020 (see “‘Star Wars’ Miniatures Games Development“). The AMG branding for former-Fantasy Flight miniatures products is set to begin in 2022, according to the transition timeline laid out in an ICv2 interview by AMG’s Head of Studio Simone Elliott (see “ICv2 Interview“). Now, brand-new Star Wars: Armada products seem to be off-the-table for the foreseeable future.

However, the Star Wars: Armada line will continue on without a new product pipeline. AMG has stated that they will continue to support the Star Wars: Armada game line with reprints of existing products and with Organized Play initiatives in 2022 and beyond.

Fantasy Flight Games last released The Invisible Hand Expansion Pack and Recusant-class Destroyer Expansion Pack for Star Wars: Armada on April 16 (see ” ‘Star Wars: Armada’“).
