Magnus Robot Fighter #18 |
Magnus Robot Fighter v1 #18, 1967 – Accused of being an alien spy, Magnus goes on the run and reunites with A1, the parental robot that raised him. In another fine effort, Russ Manning visualizes a future full of technological wonders. His robotic designs continue to amaze, from the menacing Flex-robs to the beetle-like Battle-rob that appears toward the end. A superbly shadowy Manning panel (see interior page below) become the basis for the painted cover. This story was later reprinted in Magnus Robot Fighter #41. This is #18 of 21 Magnus Robot Fighter issues by Manning (sans reprints). Related: Manning gallery
